036 Where Will You Go (Part One): Spirituality (Or Not) As a Post-Mormon

The spiritual journey is individual, highly personal. It can’t be organized or regulated. It isn’t true that everyone should follow one path. Listen to your own truth.
— Ram Dass

Mormonism claims that there is one true path to salvation and exaltation, and therefore all spiritual expression should fall into this well-defined paradigm. Upon leaving Mormonism behind, you may feel like you’re lost or floundering as you consider the wide world of spiritual options that exist outside of Mormon orthodoxy. From other organized religions, to less rigid spiritual practices, to agnosticism or atheism, the possibilities are nearly endless.

In this episode, Chloe is joined by regular panelist Donna and two guest panelists, Royleane and Sara, as they share their individual experiences leaving Mormonism and finding new approaches to spirituality (or not). It may sound like the setup for a joke, but we discovered that when a witch, an atheist, and a spiritual explorer come together to openly discuss their perspectives, it can be much more lovey-dovey than you might expect.
